“We stand at an inflection point in history. The decisions we make today will help define our future and we need to think not just about technology, but about people and human potential.”

Reimagining Human Capability, Rebuilding Opportunity
100% Human At Work is igniting a movement — an industry-led Hub tackling one of Australia’s biggest hidden skill gaps: general human capability skills.
Born from frontline employer insight, this initiative is reimagining how we define, measure, and hire for the foundational skills that drive adaptability, productivity, and potential.

What’s the challenge we’re looking to solve?
Employers face challenges in finding candidates with the general employability skills needed for success in the workplace. At the same time, people entering the workforce, or transitioning lack clarity about which skills are most valued by employers and how to demonstrate them.
CHALLENGE
An industry led pilot to identify a diverse pool of individuals, engage and provide the opportunity for self assessment against a trusted human capability framework, connected to employers committed to hire into roles matched against the framework. Addressing needs through alternative pathways.
SOLUTION
-> Demonstrate the power of assessing human capability via a skills-based framework.
-> Demonstrate industry leadership and commitment to hire through an alternative pathway.
-> Generate insights necessary to scale in the future.
HOW
Insights so far
In a world of AI, automation and increasingly rapid change, human skills are critical and can be foundational in preparing the next generation for an uncertain future
AI is changing things so quickly that building a plan over a couple of weeks often means it’s already out of date by the time it is finished. One thing we know is ‘that what got us here won’t get us there’ – we need to be testing new solutions
This is a moment in which industry can give a clear voice to government on the skills and capabilities that are the highest value for future jobs, and this can impact both society and community
If you would like to be part of the pilot, or of the growing collective of organisations supporting the experiment, please get in touch.
